Our Dentists

Dr Sree Vidya Lagisetty

General Dentist

With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Sreevidya Lagisetty takes a patient-focused and comprehensive approach to care and strives to support patients in maintaining their oral health. After earning her dental degree in 2000, she practiced as a general dentist for six years before pursuing additional training in prosthodontics. Born and raised in India, Dr. Lagisetty moved to Canada in 2015, bringing with her extensive international experience. She practiced in Prince Edward Island and Clarenville before establishing her permanent home in St. John’s. In 2016, she took over Airport Heights Dental, where she has become a dedicated provider of preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dental care.

Dr. Lagisetty is committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. She has completed several advanced programs, including:

• Part 1: Fundamentals of Function and Morphology – OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry

• Level I: Fundamentals of Bioesthetics – OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry

Her warm, gentle, and compassionate nature helps create a comfortable environment for every patient she treats. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lagisetty enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband Dr. Anand and their two children and continuing her professional development through ongoing education.
Dr Manvi Badhwar

General Dentist

Dr. Manvi Badhwar began her dental journey in 2006. After completing her dental degree in India, she moved to Canada where she earned a Dental Hygiene diploma in Toronto and worked as a hygienist for several years. She later completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.

Since graduating, Dr. Badhwar has practiced dentistry in rural communities, including West Prince, Prince Edward Island, and now Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador. Many patients know her as “Dr. Manvi.” She strives to provide patient-centered care and aims to foster a relaxed and welcoming environment for those she treats.

Dr. Manvi provides a full range of general dental services, including complex extractions, bone grafting, and comprehensive dental implant treatment. She also offers sedation dentistry and has a special interest in helping anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. In addition, she provides botulinum toxin (Botox) therapy for both esthetic and therapeutic purposes, helping patients manage concerns such as facial lines, jaw tension, and teeth grinding.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her young son, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, playing the occasional video game with her husband, and paper crafting.
Dr Nagaanand Vankdara

General Dentist

With a global perspective and a passion for clinical excellence, Dr. Nagaanand Vankadara brings over two decades of specialized dental experience to Airport Heights Dental in St. John's. Known affectionately by patients and colleagues as Dr. Anand, he is committed to transforming smiles through orthodontic innovation, patient-centered care, and a deep understanding of both facial aesthetics and function.

Dr. Anand earned his dental degree in 2000 and completed his specialization in orthodontics in 2005. His career has taken him across continents—as an assistant professor of orthodontics in Sudan, owner of a specialty practice in India, and since 2013, a dedicated practitioner in Canada. After practicing in Prince Edward Island, Clarenville, and Port Aux Basques, Dr. Anand and his family proudly call St. John’s their forever home.

At Airport Heights Dental, Dr. Anand is focused on delivering advanced orthodontic care supported by the latest technology, evidence-based techniques, and a commitment to ongoing education.Dr. Anand’s wide-ranging expertise—from traditional braces to aligners, surgical orthodontics, implant planning, and TMJ-focused treatments—allows him to provide personalized care that enhances both oral health and confidence.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Anand enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Sreevidya Lagisetty, and their two children. Together, they share a commitment to community, family, and lifelong learning.
Dr Sanjay Bommu

General Dentist

Dr. Sanjay Reddy Bommu holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Dentistry and has been a faculty member at various dental schools in India. He furthered his dental education by obtaining a doctoral degree from Boston University. He has an extensive portfolio of scientific presentations and has contributed to dental textbooks as both an editor and a writer. Dr. Sanjay values learning from experts in the dental field and places great importance on patient-centered dental care. He takes pride in offering personalized dentistry services to his patients.

As a member of various dental associations, including the Canadian Dental Association, Newfoundland Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Indian Dental Association, he strives to provide the highest quality of dental care to his patients by committing to a lifelong pursuit of continuing education. He has also earned a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. With a keen interest in technology, he stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, which allows him to provide minimally invasive treatments while ensuring the best possible results for his patients. Dr. Sanjay's ultimate goal is to dispel dental fears and bring confident, winning smiles to his patients.

When he's not working, he enjoys playing the guitar, designing websites, taking photographs, exploring the adventure trails of Newfoundland, and watching movies with his family.
