Positive Early Dental Experiences

We know that going to the dentist can be an intimidating experience for children. At Airport Heights Dental Health Centre, we will do whatever we can to make your child comfortable.

We will work at their pace and walk them through every step of their appointment, including any procedures they may be having. We will explain what is going on in terms that they can understand, helping them feel like they are part of the process.

By prioritizing your child's comfort, we hope to encourage them to prioritize their oral health today and throughout adulthood.

Most of the dental services we offer can be customized to suit the needs of your child's growing mouth, and we plan to be there with them every step of the way on their oral health journey.

Your Child's First Visit

Babies should visit a dentist within six months of their first tooth appearing or by their first birthday. This is a pivotal time to spot any misalignment and oral health care issues before they become major problems.

Dental Services for Kids

Whether your child needs preventive care or just a routine cleaning, our dentists in St. John's are here to help keep their smile healthy. Our team can also take some time to go over proper oral hygiene techniques with you and your child.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

When your child is young, visiting the dentist regularly can help preserve their primary teeth until they are ready to be replaced by permanent teeth. By monitoring the development of your child's oral health, your dentist can catch any problems as they pop up. Additional preventive measures may be recommended if your child is at risk of developing tooth decay.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child develops a cavity or chips a tooth, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments such as dental fillings.

Orthodontic Servcies

We will take a look at their child's teeth and address specific misalignment issues with braces or Invisalign, depending on the complexity of the issue.
